All of Us North Carolina is a 40-minute documentary about the queer, people of color fight against Amendment One. Filmmakers Sowjanya Kudva and Mikel Barton teamed up with the members of All of Us North Carolina to create a film that shows a different side of the mainstream fight. We show the organizers taking a philosophical approach to the campaign, by educating and encouraging queers to think beyond the issue of gay marriage and consider the fight at the intersection of many social identities. The film will be followed by a panel of community members depicted in the film.
The actual premiere of the film is on Wednesday, 4/17 in Durham, NC.
